Dr. Chaz Curtis
Chiropractor
Dr. Chaz grew up in Spanaway, WA and was called to the profession of chiropractic at the age of 16. He watched his family's health transform through chiropractic care and went from chiropractic skeptic to passionate about chiropractic. He completed his undergraduate degree at Whitworth University with a Bachelor's of Science in Health Science and made the decision to follow his dream and pursue graduate school. Dr. Chaz was accepted to Life Chiropractic College West in Hayward, CA and after his first year of schooling married his beautiful bride Marilyn. After graduating valedictorian, Dr. Chaz and Marilyn decided to move back home and serve the community that they loved. They were both hired by Millennium Valley Chiropractic in downtown Puyallup where they got to develop as a couple, as servants, and as people over the next few years. They decided to expand their reach and open a brand new state-of-the art clinic in Graham, WA and the vision for Ascend Family Chiropractic was born.
A few of Dr. Chaz' favorite things: Singing, camping, and anything having to do with lakes or water.
Marilyn Curtis
Office Manager
Marilyn has lived in the greater Puyallup area her whole life. She grew up riding horses and camping with her family and dogs. She was a Nanny for several years before meeting Dr. Chaz and being introduced to holistic Chiropractic. She started to notice what a difference the adjustments were making in her life and started working for a chiropractor while Dr. Chaz was still in school, with the the intention of one day working along side him in their own clinic. Her favorite part about working in a Chiropractic office is getting to build relationships with the patients and their kids.; seeing them come in with aliments and being a part of their journey to health.
A few of Marilyn's favorite things: Going on hikes and camping with their 3 dogs, Ryder, Meeko, and Roo, or reading a good mystery book.
Caitlyn
Office Manager
Caitlyn has lived in the greater Puyallup area her whole life. She received her bachelor's degree in exercise science from Dordt University. She loves getting her regular adjustments from her brother-in-law, Dr. Chaz, and when they needed help jumped at the chance to help grow the practice and help the community she loves. She loves being a part of the Ascend team and adding to the family-oriented environment we strive to create. Caitlyn works with Marilyn on the billing and other back-office tasks and fills in at the office when needed.
When she is not in the office, she loves spending time with her husband, three children, and two cattle dogs. She loves to go camping, visit the ocean, read a good novel, or listen to a podcast.
Evelyn
Evelyn was born in Tacoma, Washington. Her family is from Honduras, Central America, and she was raised in the Hispanic culture speaking Spanish daily and eating amazing, delicious foods! She is the Chiropractic Assistant and X-ray Technician in our office, and does her job as efficiently as possible knowing it can potentially help a patient in the long run and the present. She loves seeing and helping people get the care they deserve and getting to experience the patients leave with relief from physical pains and discomforts caused by life. When she is not working in the office some of her favorite pastimes include reading books, playing instruments, spending time with my pet rabbit, being in the outdoors, and teaching myself how to code to prepare myself for a better future.

Tina
Chiropractic Assistant
Tina has been a part of the Graham community for the last twenty years. She is our Chiropractic Assistant and works behind the front desk greeting patients with a big smile. She is also responsible for all our office decor and we love how she brightens up the office for every holiday and special occasion. She loves watching Dr. Chaz work his magic with patients and seeing the relief on their faces when they leave. When she is not working, she and her husband love spending time with their two boys.
She loves good coffee, cooking ethnic food, and volunteering at her church.
Jacey
Jacey grew up in Atlanta, Georgia, and has lived up here for the last seven years. She is our Chiropractic Assistant and is usually behind the front desk and is great at working with our patients and doing back office paperwork. Jacey's favorite things about working at Ascend Family Chiropractic are the environment and all of her co-workers. She loves seeing patients who come in with a lot of pain and then getting to watch them get their lives back. She and her husband love to explore the PNW together and find anything to do with Halloween or spooky home decor.
Some of Jacey's favorite things are music, Scooby Doo, and old-school black-and-white horror films.
