FAQ: FAQ

WHAT HAPPENS AT A TYPICAL APPOINTMENT?

On your first visit Dr. Chaz will walk you through a full exam, your history and x-rays if necessary. We usually do not adjust on the first visit as Dr. Chaz will take the time to analyze your x-rays before an adjustment. On adjustment visits we teach a few warm up exercises to prepare your spine for the adjustment so you get the maximum benefit possible.

WHAT IS OUR NEW PATIENT PROCEDURE?

New patient procedure includes an exam, x-rays if necessary, and consultation. Ask us about any new patient specials we are currently running when you make your first appointment.

WHAT ADJUSTING TECHNIQUE DO YOU USE?

Dr. Chaz specializes in Diversified/Gonstead adjusting and is also a certified Activator specialist. Our office is part of a national group of chiropractors called MaxLiving, and are experts in Pettibon spinal correction as well as nutrition, fitness, healthy mindset, and detoxification. Dr. Chaz will listen and put together a specific plan that meets your individual needs.

DO YOU ACCEPT INSURANCE?

We are in network with several different insurance companies. The few we are not in-network with we are billing out-of-network. Please call us and we will be able to give you more information. We can verify your benefits and go over them with you.

SHOULD I COME IN AFTER AN AUTO ACCIDENT / INJURY?

YES! Accidents as low as 5 miles per hour can still cause significant ligament damage and whiplash as well as muscle injury. These can cause subluxation and damage to the joints. It is best to be checked within 72 hrs of an accident to minimize the development of scar tissue and future degeneration. We specialize in auto accidents and walk through the process with you to make everything as smooth as can be. We work with attorneys and we do accept 3rd party as well as PIP (Personal Injury Protection).

IS CHIROPRACTIC JUST FOR PAIN RELIEF?

Not entirely... Pain is a symptom, not a problem. Pain is often the motivator for seeking chiropractic care. However, pain is the body's way of alerting you that a problem exists and not the problem itself. We are committed to finding the cause and restoring proper function which often results in reduced pain and better overall health and well being.
